MZC provides a place for meditation, study and reflection, leading to inner awakening and mindful, compassionate action through traditional Soto Zen Practice.
Early Morning Zazen
Affirmation of Welcome
Walking the path of liberation, we express our intimate connection with all beings. Welcoming diversity, here at Milwaukee Zen Center the practice of zazen is available to people of every race, nationality, class, gender, sexual orientation, age, and physical ability. May all beings realize their true nature.
We acknowledge that our practice place is situated on Potawatomi, Ho-Chunk, and Menominee land, and we value the continued sovereignty of the Anishinaabe, Ho-Chunk, Menominee, Oneida, and Mohican nations.
We urge everybody to take good care of your own and others’ health and stay home if you are not feeling well. In case of cold symptoms, it is advised to take a COVID test before you enter the zendo.
All events are currently available on zoom.
