Rohatsu is Shakyamuni Buddha’s Enlightenment Sitting under the Bodhi Tree. We celebrate this occasion on this day with a sesshin, a quiet day of silent meditation, formal meals, walking and moving meditation, and a short dharma talk. The day concludes with a joyful Enlightenment Ceremony and the ending of the Practice Period.
