Before the COVID pandemic hit, we had planned a Buddha's Birthday Celebration for all the Buddhist families in our area, with children's games, music, dance etc., but unfortunately we had to postpone that plan - until now! 

This major Buddhist holiday is celebrated in a ceremony where the Baby Buddha is bathed with sweet tea by every participant, especially the children, while we all chant together.

Charlie Franco's mother, Diane, provided an all-purpose venue that would accommodate a large crowd, and we are happy to follow up on that offer.  

Please reserve the date: Sunday, April 30, 2:00 - 6 pm,
at 3900 Estabrook Parkway, Shorewood.

You may bring light refreshments, and of course there will be a birthday cake!
Spread the word! All -also non-Buddhist- are welcome, especially if they can bring an instrument, balls, frisbees or a special skill (magic, storytelling etc.).
