The Ten Ox-herding Pictures are a famous allegory for the Path towards Awakening that has been used by Zen practitioners throughout the ages. Each of the ten sketches is accompanied by a poem that comments on the progress of the ox herder.
We have to be careful not to take these stages of enlightenment as absolute, but as an encouragement for our own journey that may look quite different. Also their sequence is not to be taken as unchangeable; individuals may have divergent experiences.

We will be meeting seven times on Mondays, from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm.
