Milwaukee’s 55th Annual Juneteenth celebration was held on Friday, June 19, 2026. The event featured one of the nation's longest-running Juneteenth celebrations, including the Jubilee Parade, a massive street festival along Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
Reirin walked with 100 Women on the Move in the Juneteenth Jubilee Parade that kicked off at 9:00 AM on West Atkinson Avenue and headed southeast before proceeding south on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, ending at Burleigh Street. Susan served leaflets at the Souls to the Polls booth.
The weather was great. sunny but not too hot. Everyone had a great time, there were many smiles!
