Foundational Teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha and the Practice of Mindfulness

  • Milwaukee Zen Center 2825 N Stowell Ave Milwaukee, WI 53211 USA (map)

In honor of the late Thich Nhat Hanh, whose death was mourned all over the world last month, we will pick up his main teaching, the practice of mindfulness. In order to understand the context of the practice, we will study the Buddha’s foundational teachings that are underpinning all schools of Buddhism, including the Zen School.

This will be a six-week class with a theoretical and a practical part each week.
Fee for non-members $50.00, membership discounts apply.

Registration by email required. You will then receive the zoom code.
