ROHATSU SESSHIN

at Hokyoji
December 1 @ 3:00 pm – December 7 @ 12:00 pm CST

In the Zen tradition, .Rohatsu Sesshin echoes the Buddha's sitting under the Bodhi Tree and is celebrated annually during the first week of December. Each day begins before dawn and is a continuous practice of meditation throughout the day while sitting, walking, standing and lying down. (There will also be a short work period.)

This year, the Rohatsu Sesshin will be co-led by Hokyoji's Associate Teachers Rev. Onryu "GD" Kennedy and Rev. Keidō Jeromy Thotland.

The theme is Jumping Off the Hundred Foot Pole
